Talk to someone who has driven the road.
One number and one inbox, answered by the team in Pithoragarh — not a call centre.
In season (May – November) the team is on the road as well as at the desk — a message reaches us wherever we are; a call may have to wait for a signal.
adikailash.io is our only website. See our official channels.
One message reaches the right person.
Support, enquiries, partnerships, collaborations, press — pick what it's about and write plainly. We reply from the same desk in Pithoragarh.
Writing about the route, or shooting it?
The road photographs well and the story is real — a route inside India that most people think needs a visa. We help both tell it properly.
The kit is ready.
Write to hello@adikailash.io and the kit comes back by email. What is in it, and the two things we ask:
- The fact sheet —the route, the altitudes, the permit, this season's prices
- Founder biographies —and interviews by call, or in Pithoragarh
- Photographs cleared for publication —captioned as we caption them, credited as marked
- The real brand files —the mark, the type and the usage rules, on the brand page
- A seat on a departure for a story —in season, by arrangement; ask early
Come shoot the experience.
Pitch us the idea: what you want to shoot, where you publish, and who watches. If we approve the shoot, your stays and travel on the route are covered — you bring the craft, we bring the road. The bar, plainly:
- 100,000+ followers —on the platform you would publish from
- Travel or outdoor work we can see —send links, not a deck
- A shoot that fits a departure —in season, May to November, on the scheduled route
- Covered if approved —your stays and travel on the route, from the pickup to the drop
- People only with consent —the families who host, the guides, the drivers — never as scenery
Pithoragarh, at the foot of the road.
The district headquarters, and where our team lives. You never need to come here — every package starts with a pickup — but the door is open in season.

The four things everyone asks first.
The rest are on the FAQ page, and anything else is a message away.
- Do I need a Chinese visa or a China permit?
- No. Adi Kailash and Om Parvat are both inside India, in Pithoragarh district. You need an Inner Line Permit, applied for online on the district portal, which we arrange for you. Bring a government photo ID and passport-size photographs; the portal also lists a medical fitness certificate and a self-declaration affidavit.
- What is included in the package price?
- Transport for the full route, hotel and homestay accommodation, breakfast and dinner, a government-certified guide, Inner Line Permit assistance, and all driver allowance, toll and parking. Lunch and personal expenses are not included.
- Is the trip suitable for elderly parents?
- For most, yes. The circuit is driven rather than trekked, and the highest nights are at Gunji or Nabi, 3,200 to about 3,290 m. We build in an acclimatisation day and carry oxygen. Tell us first about any heart, lung or blood-pressure condition, and we will tell you honestly if we have concerns.
- What happens if the road or weather closes the route?
- The Gunji road is weather-dependent and the authorities can close it at short notice. If a leg is cut, we reroute to the alternatives in the same valley and tell you the moment we know. We do not charge for the days we cannot run.
