• Per Paytm, the return KMOU service has 11 buses from Almora (Mall Road station) to Haldwani, first at 6:30 AM and last at 1:15 PM, about 4 hours. (tickets.paytm.com)

• On Kainchi Dham rush weekends (plan for 17 and 18 Oct 2026, 5 AM to 8 PM), traffic from Haldwani and Kathgodam to Almora goes via Khutani Band in Bhimtal, Dhari and Dhanachuli Band, and traffic down from Almora goes via Lamgara, Dhanachuli, Dhari, Khutani Band and Bhimtal. • The Kwarab danger zone on the Almora to Haldwani highway (NH-109) was closed to all vehicles from 29 May 2026 and reopened on 15 July 2026, after about 48 days.
