Good to know on this road

• Jageshwar's main parking is at Artola. On busy days police also park cars along the road from Vinayak bridge to the Artola parking. On 13 May 2026 this narrowed the road, a long jam built up from Vinayak bridge to Artola and on to the temples, a KMOU bus from Haldwani was stuck, and many visitors walked the last stretch. • The Kumaon tourism site puts Kathgodam railway station about 130 km from Jageshwar and the nearest airport, Pantnagar, about 127 km from Almora. It calls road the most practical way in. (kumaon.gov.in)
• UTC's online booking has no Jageshwar station (checked 23 Oct 2026). The nearest UTC bus point is Almora, which has direct buses from Delhi Anand Vihar (8 PM and 9 PM) and Dehradun ISBT (6 PM). (utconline.uk.gov.in, 23 Oct 2026)
